All the great work that is accomplished through the non-profit Challenge Ranch, Inc. relies
upon private donations.  The trainers, assistants and Board of Directors for Challenge Ranch
Inc. donate their time without compensation because of their dedication to helping
under-privileged children.  See our financial statement for 2010.
Current needs:

Challenge Ranch Inc. appreciates donations of any type of new or used equine or ranch
equipment.  The ranch is always in need of tack, blankets, halters, corral panels, show jumps,
etc.  

We are looking for a couple of specific items at this time:
  • Hay - the price of hay has gone up drastically over the last year, we currently buy our hay
    in bulk, but any donation is greatly appreciated
  • Hay sheds/shelters - we currently have 3 small structures, but they do not cover our 3
    month supply
  • Golf Cart - to move hay and carrots around the 10 acre property
  • R.V. - we attend many events where we stay over with the kids, we often borrow or rent
    an R.V. which provides a base-camp and place for the kids to heat up food
  • Trailer - we currently have two small horse trailers and a 3 horse stock trailer, we often
    have to take two trips to get all the horses to events

Any monetary donation is greatly appreciated, for $250, you will feed and care for a horse,
dedicated to working with under-privileged children, for a full month.  $3,600 will allow a young
person unlimited riding, encouragement and support in the non-profit Challenge Ranch Inc.
program for one year.
